Jake and his girlfriend attended the world premiere of the Nightmare on Elm Street remake last night (April 27th) at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood. He was there to support his best friend, Kyle Gallner, who plays the part of Quentin. The movie comes out in theatres this Friday, April 30th.

And last but not least, we’ve added a section in the menu on the right: Picture of the month. Every month, we’ll put up our favorite picture of Jake! We’re starting it off with Jake’s picture at the premiere for the month of May!

Jake Abel Online has been online for a good month and a half now, so we’ve decided that we need a new banner. Who better to ask than you guys, the fans? So, we’re holding a little banner competition. Whoever feels up like it, can submit a banner and then when the deadline is over, we’ll put the banners up for a vote right here on the site. So not only can you make the banner, you can also help decide which banner we’ll be using!

A couple of rules:
* Banner size: 900×200
* Banner must include the words ‘Jake Abel Online’ in some way
* You can submit more than one entry
* You can use all kinds of pictures, but please don’t use personal pictures of Jake (check out our gallery for a variety of pictures you can use! )
* Everything else is up to you!

The deadline for this is May 11th at midnight GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). You can send your entries to Jakeabelonline@hotmail.com . The winning banner will get put up on the site, all other banners will get a spot in our gallery!

Today is a bit of a special day for us. We’ve been online for exactly one month!! Time flies by when you’re having fun, hahaha! The past month, we’ve had close to 4,000 hits which we’re absolutely thrilled about! We’re glad people are finding their way to the site and are finding our updates useful. We hope to be able to continue this way and that you will keep on supporting our site and of course, Jake!!

Anyway, time to get down to business:
