Jake turns 23 on November 18th so we’re holding a birthday project for him. We’ve set up an online birthday book where you can drop Jake a birthay comment. On his birthday, we will send that link off to someone who can get it to him. You have until November 17th, midnight GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) to submit your comment! You can sign it all through November 18th.

A couple of rules to make things run more smoothly:
1) Only one entry per person allowed, so think carefully before you post! You have over two weeks time to come up with something so no need to rush it.
2) Watch your language! No text speak, no bad words, no cussing – you get the picture!
3) If you have made something for Jake, i.e., a video or a photo, please link to it instead of posting it in the comment to save space.
4) Don’t post any personal information, like phone number or address. That kind of information will be deleted.

It’s Asylum 5 this weekend! Jake has a panel on Saturday and on Sunday, together with Julie McNiven (who played the Angel Anna). His panel on Saturday is from 12:30 – 13:15 pm GMT, Sunday from 16:30 – 17:15 pm GMT. He also has two coffee lounges, Saturday from 10:15 – 11:00 am GMT and Sunday from 15:45 – 16:30 pm GMT. Hopefully, people will be tweeting from the event. If possible, we will update this post with tweets, so keep checking! You can also follow on Twitter. It doesn’t look like a hashtag has been agreed on, but #asylum 5 or #A5 seem the likely ones! (For the entire timetable, see HERE .)

Rogue Events just announced Jake Abel for their Asylum 5 Supernatural convention which will take place in Birmingham, England from October 29th – 31st 2010. Jake stepped in as a last minute replacement guest for Richard Speight Jr. (The Trickster/Gabriel), who had to cancel due to work committments.

This is the first convention Jake has done in months, so we’re looking forward to new photos and some updates on what he’s up to!

On a sidenote: we’re working on a little project, which will be revealed in the next couple of days (hopefully, tomorrow), so keep checking the site!

Back in September, Jake attended the Private Awards season fittings at the Levi’s Los Angeles show room. Wireimage posted four images of the event. Hopefully, there will be untagged versions of better quality soon. If you stumble across them before we do, please let us know!
